South by Southwest Interactive is an event that brings together innovators and influencers. It’s a hotbed of critical thinking and great place to generate buzz for a brand.
The sheer magnitude of events, panels and parties make it difficult for any one company to stand out in a crowd, but Tagged broke through the noise in a big way.
Thirty-four employees (almost half the company!) attended SXSW on behalf of Tagged and they were terrific brand ambassadors as they mingled with tech’s finest throughout the event.
We also arranged complimentary limousine transfers for friends of Tagged enabling them to start their SXSW off in style. The limousine transfers were well received, with USA TODAY and CNET providing coverage of the promotions while others tweeted their satisfaction:

In addition to the regular limos, we had several Tagged sedans, a stretch Hummer and a Mobile Command Center thanks to Austin Black Car and Mobile Jets driving through the streets of Austin and gathering admiring looks.
Last but certainly not least Tagged hosted a happy hour on Saturday night at Parkside, a popular Austin restaurant. The rooftop patio was packed with revelers and new friends. The open happy-hour was followed by a team dinner where we enjoyed a respite from the craziness of SXSW and reconnected with the team over good food and plentiful drinks.
We’re thrilled by the positive feedback from SXSW– it was an outstanding experience! While we recover from lost sleep and overindulgence back in San Francisco, stay weird Austin.
